MU Speaker Spotlight: Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design

March 24, 2016 Miles Price

Meet Aaron Draplin. Aaron proudly runs Draplin Design, a design outfit located in Portland specializing in print, identity, and illustration-related projects, and is the co-founder of Field Notes. His client list is beyond impressive, ranging from huge brands like Nike, Ford Motor Company, and Target, to bands (Dinosaur Jr., Old 97s), and even the Obama Administration.

Tickets for Marketing United are nearly sold out! Register now and we’ll be sure to save you a seat.

Aaron has been on a speaking tour of the design community for the past six years, is releasing a book in May 2016, was recently a guest on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, and even got a write-up in the New York Times Style section. It goes without saying: Aaron’s a busy guy (he doesn’t sleep...he waits). So, we’re very excited we could steal him away for his talk at Marketing United.

There’s a reason he’s so in demand. Aaron’s personality is as big as his beard, and his often irreverent blend of really smart content and hilarious anecdotes always make an impact. Plus, he’s a genuinely nice guy who’s fun to be around. So if you’ve never seen him speak, it’s time to make it happen.

And to sweeten the deal even more, Aaron will be handing out his new Marketing United Field Notes notebooks to all attendees! We’re not saying you have to take notes at Marketing United, but if you do, Field Notes take the best notes.

Learn more about Aaron here, and be sure to check out the full agenda. See you at Marketing United!
