Look who's speaking at Marketing United

February 24, 2016 Jeff Slutz

Back when we first decided to make Marketing United (April 18-20 in Nashville) a real thing, we made a promise to ourselves that we’d only host a conference if it was one we’d actually want to attend. That starts with an unbeatable lineup of speakers. Sure, they’re not wearing capes (that you can see), but this lineup is super. Times eleven. And we can’t wait to see them take the stage in April.

If it feels like there are more customer complaints than ever, you’re right. But it’s also an enormous opportunity. Jay’s going to reveal why all those brand haters aren’t the real problem – ignoring them is! He'll teach you how to hug your haters to create more loyal customers and grow your business.

When it comes to writing great content (and helping others do it better), there’s no one like Ann. With her unique blend of smart insights, self-deprecating humor, and practical takeaways, Ann will not only inspire you to create “ridiculously good content,” she’ll actually show you how to do it.

Scott is the perfect choice to kick off the conference with the opening keynote – watching him speak is pretty much like pounding a triple shot of espresso. He’ll leave you belly laughing and thinking long and hard about your own marketing efforts when he’s done.

The charity:water story is fascinating – you know, assuming you find Scott's decision to give up his lavish lifestyle as a successful New York club promoter to start a nonprofit that’s provided over 5 million people with clean drinking water fascinating. It’s a story of hope, charity, and how great marketing can literally change the world.

You know Field Notes? They’re awesome, and Aaron’s the one responsible for them. He’ll share the highs and lows of living a ferociously independent existence in the world of contemporary design. Plus, this large, large man will tell quite a few tall tales. Regardless if you believe them or not, you’ll be inspired to attack your marketing in a whole new way.

And there’s more...

We’ll also have in-depth sessions covering a full range of marketing topics, including email, video, SEO, social media, and more. Experts from Marketing Insider Group, Litmus, Sprout Social, Moz, Rainmaker Digital, and Wistia will share best practices and real takeaways that will help us all get better at what we do. Plus, we’ll hear exciting brand stories from the likes of Tito’s Vodka,  Mario Batali, and Canyon Ranch, just to name a few.

We’ll be announcing even more speakers and the full agenda in the coming weeks, so be sure to join the Marketing United email list to hear all the latest.
